The Eccotemp Mini Tank 2.5 water heater is a point-of-use mini tank water heater featuring a 2.5-gallon capacity designed to deliver instant hot water on demand to any faucet, eliminating the need for long hot water pipe runs. The EM-2.5 efficiently provides hot water for hand wash and kitchen sinks in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, and can replace traditional central hot water heaters to conserve water and reduce energy waste. It can also be plumbed in series with a central water heater to function as a booster. Designed for easy installation, the unit is lightweight, compact, and can be wall-mounted using the included hardware or placed freestanding. It operates effectively at a maximum water pressure of 150 PSI, and a pressure reducing valve should be installed if the water pressure exceeds this limit.
