The Eccotemp Mini Tank 4.0 water heater is a larger version of the EM-2.5 point-of-use mini tank water heater, featuring a 4.0-gallon holding tank that provides instant hot water on demand to any faucet, eliminating the need for long hot water pipe runs. This unit is suitable for various applications, including under-the-counter setups, supplying hot water for hand wash and kitchen sinks in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. It can replace traditional central hot water heaters to conserve water and reduce energy waste or be plumbed in series with a central water heater as a booster. The lightweight and compact design allows for easy installation, with options for wall mounting using included hardware or freestanding placement. The EM-4.0 operates at a maximum water pressure of 150 PSI, and it is recommended to install a pressure reducing valve if the water pressure exceeds this limit.
