MegaTape is designed to seal threads on virtually any piping system, including stainless steel pipe, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, ABS pipe, brass, and chrome fittings, as well as gas connections, among others. The tape is available in a mega-huge 1000-inch roll, making it suitable for extensive applications. It features low-lead and stainless steel threads that require a thicker, denser tape for optimal performance, with more PTFE than any other tape on the market. MegaTape is effective for use on threaded pipes carrying various substances such as dilute acids, compressed air, aliphatic solvents, dilute caustics, cutting oils, diesel fuel oil, hydraulic fluids, L.P. gas, natural gas, petroleum solvents, steam, vegetable oils, and water. The color gray is chosen for its aesthetic compatibility, as 80% of showerheads sold are chrome or nickel, ensuring a better blend.
