MegaTape is designed to seal threads on virtually any piping system, including stainless steel pipe, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, and ABS pipe, as well as brass and chrome fittings and gas connections. Its gray color blends better with 80% of shower heads sold that are chrome or nickel. The tape performs exceptionally well due to its harder, sharper low-lead and stainless steel threads, requiring a thicker, denser tape for effective sealing. MegaTape boasts the highest concentration of PTFE, ensuring superior performance. Each roll is a mega-sized 1000 inches, making it suitable for use on any threaded pipe that carries dilute acids, compressed air, aliphatic solvents, dilute caustics, cutting oils, diesel fuel oil, hydraulic fluids, L.P. gas, natural gas, petroleum solvents, steam, vegetable oils, water, and more.
