This vented plastic shelving system utilizes ion-technology to inhibit the growth of mold, fungus, and bacteria, making it suitable for storing food in walk-in refrigerators and freezers in restaurant and kitchen environments. The shelves feature a Camguard™ finish that is resistant to scraping, washing, and wearing off, and are constructed from rust-free, recyclable polypropylene that is dishwasher safe. The weldless construction prevents liquid or dirt penetration, while the shelves can be adjusted in height at 4" increments without disassembling the unit. The posts and bracing consist of a durable steel core encased in smooth polypropylene, ensuring longevity. The kit includes two post kits and five vented shelves, with a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) per 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelf and 600 lbs (272 kg) per 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelf, and a maximum capacity of 2,000 lbs (910 kg) per unit. Additionally, the posts come with adjustable leveling feet, and the system is designed for easy cleaning to maintain a HACCP compliant hygienic work area. The shelving is NSF listed and made in the USA, with a lifetime limited warranty. All Cambro Cam shelving is rust and corrosion proof for life, and many Cambro accessories, as well as all add-on units, are compatible only with their specific Cambro shelving line. The shelf plates can be easily lifted away for cleaning without disassembly, and traverses and plates can be rearranged without disassembling other components. The shared post design allows for the addition of units without wasting space or reducing carrying capacity in a straight line, and add-on units must be compatible with Cambro shelving of the same series. The product is also NSF listed and made in the USA.
