This vented plastic shelving system employs ion-technology to inhibit the growth of mold, fungus, and bacteria, making it ideal for storing food in walk-in refrigerators and freezers in restaurant and kitchen environments. The shelves are reinforced with a Camguard™ finish that remains intact and durable, not scraping, washing, or wearing off. Constructed from rust-free, recyclable polypropylene that is dishwasher safe, the shelving features weldless construction to prevent liquid or dirt penetration. The shelves are height adjustable at 4" increments without the need to disassemble the unit, and the posts and bracing consist of a steel core with a smooth polypropylene exterior designed for long-lasting use. The kit includes two posts and five vented shelves, with a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) per 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelf and 600 lbs (272 kg) per 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelf, while the maximum weight capacity per unit is 2,000 lbs (910 kg). The posts feature adjustable leveling feet, and the shelving can be easily cleaned to maintain a HACCP compliant hygienic work area. Certified NSF listed and made in the USA, it comes with a lifetime limited warranty. Additionally, all Cambro Camshelving is rust and corrosion proof for life, and while many Cambro accessories and all add-on units must be used with the specific Camshelving line, the shelf plates can be lifted away for cleaning without disassembly and run through a dishwasher. The traverses and plates can be rearranged without disassembling the surrounding components, and the shared post design allows for easy addition of units without occupying extra space or reducing carrying capacity in a straight line, noting that add-on units must be compatible with the same series of Camshelving, all of which are NSF listed and made in the USA.
