This vented plastic shelving system is designed with ion-technology that reduces the growth of mold, fungus, and bacteria, making it ideal for food storage in walk-in refrigerators and freezers in restaurant and kitchen environments. The shelving features a Camguard™ finish that is resistant to scraping, washing, and wearing out, and is constructed from rust-free, recyclable polypropylene, ensuring it is dishwasher safe. The weldless design prevents liquid or dirt penetration, while the shelves are height adjustable in 4" increments without the need for disassembly. The robust posts and bracing consist of a steel core with a smooth polypropylene exterior for durability. The kit includes a two post kit and five vented shelves, with a weight capacity of 800 lbs (365 kg) per 24-48" (61-122 cm) shelf, 600 lbs (272 kg) per 54-72" (137-183 cm) shelf, and a maximum weight capacity of 2,000 lbs (910 kg) per unit. Adjustable leveling feet are included with the posts, and the unit is easy to clean to maintain a HACCP compliant work area. The product is NSF listed and made in the USA, with a lifetime limited warranty. Cambro Camshelving is also rust and corrosion-proof for life, with many accessories and add-on units designed specifically for this line. Shelf plates can be easily lifted out for cleaning and are dishwasher safe, and traverses and plates can be rearranged without disassembly. The shared post design allows additional units to be added without compromising space or carrying capacity in a straight line, although add-on units must be compatible with Camshelving of the same series.
