Eagle's 45-gallon self-closing acid and corrosive safety cabinet is constructed from 18-gauge (1 mm) steel, featuring reinforced double-wall construction with a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet includes continuous piano hinges, a ground connection, and four adjustable galvanized leveling legs. It is finished with a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder coat and is equipped with trilingual warning labels. The cabinet also features a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof sill, patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves that can hold a uniform distributed load of 350 lbs (158.8 kg) and direct spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump. Additionally, it has two internal vents with fire baffles and caps, a flush-mounted door handle with key lock, and a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system. The doors are self-closing, with a concealed self-close mechanism for obstruction-free access to the top shelf space, and self-indexing doors ensure a tight closure from top to bottom. The internal dimensions of the cabinet are 39.5" W x 14.562" D x 60.5" H. The cabinet is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. It is not recommended for use with sulfuric, nitric, or hydrochloric acids.
