The Acid Corrosive Cabinet is designed for safe storage of hazardous materials and features double doors with a self-closing mechanism that automatically latches when a fusible link melts at 165 degrees Fahrenheit. Constructed from all welded, double-walled 18 gauge steel with a 1-1/2" air space, the cabinet measures 43"W x 18"D x 65"H and includes dual 2" diameter capped vents with flame arrestors. The doors are reinforced with 14 gauge steel on the outside and 18 gauge on the inside, equipped with heavy-duty 4" welded hinges featuring brass pins and a 3-point locking system for enhanced security. The cabinet is fitted with a flush-mounted padded grip handle, galvanized steel shelves with a 350 lb. capacity that adjust on 2-1/2" centers, and a polyethylene tray liner for each shelf and the bottom sump. It also features a ground connection that dissipates static charge, 2" leak-proof doorsills, and adjustable leveling feet. The blue powder coat finish on acid corrosive models ensures compliance with NFPA and OSHA requirements, and the cabinet is FM approved for additional safety certification.
