The Eagle plastic lab pack drum 1655MBBG is a 55-gallon chemical-resistant tapered plastic drum constructed from high-density polyethylene treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading, cracking, or peeling during outdoor storage. It features a metal lever lock and bung lid for secure closure and offers superior strength with a tapered design that enables space-saving stacking when empty. This drum is certified and compliant for safe storage, handling, and transportation of hazardous materials, suitable for use as a spill kit container, original shipping container compatible with packing groups L, LL, and LLL, as well as for biowaste disposal and incineration. The lab pack/open head drum is specifically designed for smaller non-damaged bottles, cans, carboys, and 5-gallon pails of non-leaking hazardous materials, requiring sufficient sorbents if there is any leaking to ensure no free liquids are present.
