The New Yorker® A Regid Valance Awning is a Beauty-Mark® brand by Awntech®, recognized as the most popular fixed awning for both residential and commercial applications. Engineered with a full load-bearing frame, the New Yorker® has been rigorously tested to withstand heavy wind and snow loads, outperforming many modular fixed awnings that may collapse in gusty conditions. The testing process included extreme wind tunnel evaluations and weight positioning assessments. Installation consists of attaching a few wall brackets, setting the awning into these brackets, and tightening them securely. The frame is constructed from structural aluminum and stainless steel hardware, while the canopy is made from Beauty-Mark® acrylic fabrics, woven from 100% solution dyed acrylic anti-microbial yarns and treated for UV and water resistance. The fabrics come in a variety of designer solids and stripes, with options for trim color and valance style. Features include an elegant slope with a solid frame straight valance, easy assembly and installation, and the fabric's rust, fade, and mildew resistant properties.
