The LW Scientific ZipCombo is a multi-function micro-centrifuge that includes a choice of three rotors designed to meet all micro-centrifugation needs in one unit. The flat microhematocrit rotor is capable of spinning shorter capillary tubes while eliminating angled separation lines, clay blow-outs, and broken tubes. The six-place microtube rotor accommodates 1.5/2.0ml tubes for serum and urine separations and is equipped with adapters for other sized tubes. Additionally, it comes with an 8-place PCR strip rotor. Featuring robust construction for long life, the ZipCombo is ideal for blood and urine separations, microfiltrations, and DNA preparations.
