Modine Hot Dawg® low profile gas-fired unit heaters are designed for both residential and commercial applications, featuring a propane gas fired unit heater with an output of 75000 BTU. These heaters can be installed just one inch below the ceiling and operate with whisper quiet, vibration-free performance. With an 80% thermal efficiency rating, they provide substantial fuel savings. Constructed from 22 gauge aluminized steel with a corrosion-resistant powder coat finish, the heaters include a permanently-lubricated motor for dependable operation. Standard features comprise adjustable louvers, a finger-proof fan guard for safety, and a tubular heat exchanger equipped with a tubular in-shot burner for reliable performance. The lightweight design allows for easy ceiling installation using two included angle brackets. Field wiring connections are facilitated by knockouts for quick access to gas and electricity, while the power exhaust option simplifies side-wall or roof venting through a small-diameter vent pipe. These units are CSA certified and must be installed by a licensed contractor. The unit comes with a 10 year limited warranty on the heat exchanger and a 1 year warranty on all other parts.
