The Bearings Limited JH1616 OH needle bearing is a heavy, drawn cup, caged bearing featuring an oil hole and a bore diameter of 25.4 mm. This type of needle roller bearing is classified based on the direction of the load it supports, either radial or thrust. Needle roller bearings, which include variations such as drawn cup, solid radial bearings, and thrust needle bearings, have rollers that slightly exceed the standard size range as defined by ISO. Available in two configurations, caged and full complement, the drawn cup outer rings are constructed from carefully selected alloy steel sheets that undergo surface hardening after precise pressing, resulting in a robust structure. The cage within the needle bearing effectively guides the rollers at their pitch diameter, and its surface is also hardened to minimize frictional torque while enhancing rigidity and wear resistance.
