Zinsser Mold Killing Primer is a water-based fungicidal protective coating designed for application over existing mold, mildew, moss, fungi, odor-causing bacteria, and other fungal organisms. This primer contains an EPA registered antimicrobial that effectively prevents the growth of mold, mildew, and related fungal organisms on the paint film, while also aiding in the coverage of residual microbiological and fungal stains. It allows for direct painting over mold, effectively killing existing mold and mildew while binding to chalky siding, masonry, and metal surfaces. The product is suitable for both interior and exterior use, is water-based, and is specifically formulated for addressing stains caused by water leaks. After application, it is recommended to wait for the Mold Killing Primer to dry before applying a Zinsser stain-blocking primer for optimal results.
