Rust-Oleum® Zinsser® Gardz® Problem Surface Sealer is a low-odor, water-based formula designed to lock down porous and crumbling surfaces, providing a reliable seal over damaged drywall, adhesive residues, and other chalky surfaces. This product is effective in repairing torn paper on damaged drywall, eliminating bubbles, sealing skim coats and spackling, protecting new drywall, and sealing old wallpaper adhesive. The sealer dries to a clear, matte finish and offers a high spread rate with fast drying times. It is easy to apply using a brush, medium-nap roller, or sprayer, and should be applied liberally while avoiding over-application. The kit includes a 1-gallon container, providing an ample supply for various projects, and the formula complies with applicable industry standards.
