The kit includes a sturdy sheet steel housing designed for use in dispatch and warehouse areas, featuring hardened cutting rollers capable of ripping through 2-3 layers of tough cardboard. It is equipped with a continuous duty motor that ensures continual shredding without downtime, accompanied by an intuitive operation interface with LED indicators on a robust keypad. The built-in ruler allows for precise measurement of the desired packing width, while bearing plates prevent cardboard from twisting, bending, or catching in the cutting device, ultimately ensuring reliable padding and a long service life. The cutting head is constructed of solid steel, and the enclosed gearboxes along with chain-driven blade shafts, made from a single piece of induction-hardened metal, are designed to resist occasional soft-metal staples. Additional features include a thermal fuse for overheating protection, a 3-phase power connection, an on/off and reverse rocker switch, and the option for dust extraction system connectivity. This equipment complies with both national and international safety regulations, is mobile on casters, and is TAA compliant.
