The powered stretch wrap machine increases productivity in the shipping department or at the end of a production line and includes a powered turntable and counter-balanced stretch film mast. It is easy to operate by depressing the foot pedal and manually moving the mast up and down. Film wrap tension is controlled with an adjustable, friction-brake assembly, and film placement is manually controlled by moving the carriage assembly up and down on the vertical mast. The hand-operated carriage brake is easy to release, allowing the carriage to move freely for fast and simple film application. The system accepts 10" to 20" material, and the unit ships with the mast disconnected, which can be raised and clamped into place. The standard manual film wrap delivery can be upgraded to a 115V 1-Phase AC powered mast option (PMO), where the handheld control raises and lowers the film while the foot control operates the turntable. The package also offers an optional approach ramp for loading and unloading the machine with a pallet truck.
