The Prime-Line® latch shield, model U 9481, is constructed from anodized aluminum and is designed to enhance security by securing against forced entry. This latch shield can be used on both inswing and outswing doors, with the shield mounting to the door for outswing applications or to the door frame for inswing applications, requiring some mortising for inswing applications. It is specifically designed to fit rim cylinder night locks and is suitable for residential, commercial, and industrial use. The package includes the shield and four #6 x 1" Phillips flat head screws. The product features extruded aluminum with a durable anodized aluminum finish, ensuring long-lasting performance.
