The Wildeck® EdgeAlert™ kit for slide gate, model SG3060-SL, is designed to enhance facility safety and prevent OSHA violations associated with open gates at elevated mezzanine platforms, which can lead to significant fines during inspections. This system continuously monitors gate status and signals an open gate through flashing amber-colored LED lights and a highly audible alarm, with LED indicators positioned on both the front and back of the enclosure for optimal visibility at elevated and ground levels. For convenience, workers can silence EdgeAlert™ for a period of 120 seconds by pressing the snooze/acknowledge button during daily activities. Once an open gate is closed and secured, the EdgeAlert™ alarm can be reset by pressing the snooze/acknowledge button or by utilizing the automatic reset mode. The system is compatible with both AC and DC power sources, offering flexibility in installation.
