The Gleason Reel® cable reel is designed for versatile mounting options, including wall, ceiling, or under workbench installation. It features a robust cast aluminum housing with a baked polyester finish, ensuring durability. The unit is equipped with a unitized 20 amp slip ring housed within a gasketed enclosure, and it includes an easily accessible gasketed junction box. The spring housing and guide arm accommodate a spring motor, while the spool configuration is engineered to prevent lock-out and includes a watertight cord grip. Additionally, the reel boasts a field-adjustable cord guide with four rollers and a cord stop that ensures smooth cord retraction and extension. A positive lock with field-adjustable disengage is incorporated, and the maintenance-free enclosed power spring enhances its reliability. The kit includes a Type SO cable measuring 16/3C x 50'.
