The Gleason Reel® cable reel is designed for versatile mounting options including wall, ceiling, or under workbench installation. It features a durable cast aluminum housing with a baked polyester finish, ensuring longevity and resistance to wear. The unit is equipped with a unitized 20 amp slip ring housed in a gasketed enclosure, along with an easily accessible gasketed junction box. The spring housing and guide arm incorporate a spring motor, while the spool configuration is designed to prevent lock-out and includes a watertight cord grip. The field adjustable cord guide is fitted with four rollers and a cord stop, facilitating smooth cord retraction and extension. Additionally, it has a positive lock with a field adjustable disengage feature, and a maintenance-free enclosed power spring. The kit includes a Type SO cable with dimensions of 16/4C x 20'.
