The Gleason Reel® cable reel is designed for versatile mounting options, including wall, ceiling, or under a workbench. It features a durable cast aluminum housing with a baked polyester finish and incorporates a unitized 20 amp slip ring housed in a gasketed enclosure. The reel has an easily accessible gasketed junction box and a spring housing with a guide arm that contains a maintenance-free enclosed power spring. The spool configuration is designed to prevent lock-out, and it includes a watertight cord grip. Additionally, the cable reel comes equipped with a field adjustable cord guide featuring four rollers and a cord stop to ensure smooth cord retraction and extension. It has a positive lock mechanism with a field adjustable disengage and includes a type SO cable measuring 14/3C x 40'.
