Eagle's 16-gallon, self-closing, space saver acid and corrosive safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel, featuring reinforced double wall construction with a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on all sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet has a corrosion-resistant powder coat finish and includes trilingual warning labels, a grounding attachment, a 3-point stainless steel bullet latching system, and a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised, leakproof door sill. It includes two internal vents with fire baffle and cap, as well as four adjustable galvanized leveling legs. Each adjustable shelf is supported by four brackets with 3 in (7.6 cm) centers and can hold a uniform distributed load of 350 lbs (158.8 kg). The cabinet is equipped with self-closing doors that operate with a concealed self-close mechanism for obstruction-free access to the top shelf space. It is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. Internal dimensions measure 20"W x 14.56"D x 39.5"H. Not recommended for use with sulfuric, nitric, or hydrochloric acids.
