Eagle's 30 gallon self-closing acid and corrosive safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with a reinforced double wall construction that includes a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space between the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. It features a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder finish, continuous piano hinges, and a ground connection. The cabinet includes two adjustable galvanized shelves that can hold a uniform distributed load (UDL) of 350 lbs (159 kg), with 3 in (7.6 cm) centers supported by four brackets, as well as a poly shelf and sump trays to help contain small spills and provide extra corrosion protection. The design incorporates two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents with fire baffle and cap, a flush-mounted door handle with key lock, and a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system. The self-latching doors are designed to close automatically at a 135-degree opening and include a concealed self-close mechanism for unobstructed access to the top shelf space. The cabinet is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. Internal dimensions of the cabinet are 39.5"W x 14.562"D x 39.5"H.
