Eagle's 45-gallon manual close acid and corrosive safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet measures internal dimensions of 39.5"W x 14.562"D x 60.5"H and includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) threaded vents each equipped with a fire baffle and cap. It features a lead-free, high-gloss baked-on powder coat finish that is corrosion resistant, along with continuous piano hinges and a ground connection. The door includes a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof sill, flush-mounted handle with key lock, and a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system with manual closing allowing 180° opening. The cabinet is supported by four adjustable galvanized leveling legs, contains trilingual warning labels, and has internally and externally welded construction. It includes patented adjustable galvanized steel poly shelves and sump trays that are adjustable on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers via four brackets, each shelf supporting a uniform distributed load of 350 lbs (158.8 kg), designed to direct spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump for extra corrosion protection. This safety cabinet is FM-approved and compliant with NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. It is not recommended for use with sulfuric, nitric, or hydrochloric acids.
