Eagle's 60-gallon self-closing acid and corrosive safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel, featuring reinforced double-wall construction with a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, and doors. It includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents with fire baffle and cap, and boasts a corrosion-resistant lead-free, high-gloss baked-on powder coat finish. The cabinet is equipped with a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system, a flush-mounted door handle with a key lock, and self-latching doors that close in sequence to ensure a tight closure from top to bottom. Each shelf is adjustable on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers, supported by four brackets, and holds a uniform distributed load of 350 lbs (158.8 kg). Additional features include a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof sill, continuous piano hinges, a grounding attachment, and four adjustable galvanized leveling legs. The internal dimensions of the cabinet are 30.75" W x 30.34" D x 60.5" H. This cabinet is FM-approved and meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. It is not recommended for use with sulfuric, nitric, or hydrochloric acids.
