Eagle's 60-gallon self-closing haz-mat drum storage safety cabinet is designed to safely contain two 30-gallon drums of flammable liquids or hazardous waste. The cabinet includes a convenient half shelf for additional storage space and drum rollers for easy handling. Constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel, it features reinforced double-wall construction with a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space between the walls, and a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder finish. The cabinet is equipped with continuous piano hinges, a ground connection, four adjustable galvanized leveling legs, and trilingual warning labels. It includes a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof sill, patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves that direct spills to the back and bottom of a leakproof sump with a load capacity of 350 lbs (158.8 kg) UDL, and internal and external welded construction. Two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents with fire baffles and caps are provided, along with a flush-mounted door handle with key lock and a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system. The cabinet features self-latching doors that close automatically when opened to a 135-degree angle, with a concealed self-close mechanism allowing unobstructed access to the top shelf. The self-indexing doors ensure they close in sequence for a tight seal from top to bottom, and it meets NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. Internal dimensions measure 39.5" W x 30".
