Eagle's 24-gallon self-closing space saver acid and corrosive safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel, featuring a reinforced double-wall construction with a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet is designed with continuous piano hinges, a ground connection, and four adjustable galvanized leveling legs. It includes two 2 in (5.1 cm) internal vents with a fire baffle and cap, as well as trilingual warning labels and a flush-mounted door handle with a key lock. The three-point stainless steel bullet latching system ensures secure closure, while the self-latching doors feature a concealed self-close mechanism that provides obstruction-free access to the top shelf space. Each adjustable galvanized steel shelf can hold a uniform distributed load (UDL) of 350 lbs (158.8 kg) and directs spills to the back and bottom of a leakproof sump. The cabinet's internal dimensions are 20"W x 14.56"D x 60.5"H, and it boasts a lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder finish, a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof sill, and internal and external welded construction. Cabinets are FM-approved and meet NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. Not recommended for use with sulfuric, nitric, or hydrochloric acids.
