Eagle's 12 gallon, self-closing, space saver acid and corrosive safety cabinet is constructed of 18-gauge (1 mm) steel with reinforced double wall construction featuring a 1-1/2 in (3.8 cm) air space on the sides, top, bottom, back, and doors. The cabinet includes two internal vents, each with 2 in (5.1 cm) threaded fittings and a fire baffle and cap, and it has a corrosion-resistant lead-free, high-gloss, baked-on powder coat finish. It is equipped with trilingual warning labels, a grounding attachment, a three-point stainless steel bullet latching system, and a 2 in (5.1 cm) raised leakproof door sill. Each shelf is adjustable on 3 in (7.6 cm) centers and supported by four brackets, with a safe allowable load of 350 lbs (159 kg). The internal and external welded construction, along with patented adjustable galvanized steel shelves, directs spills to the back and bottom of the leakproof sump for extra corrosion protection. The cabinet also features flush mounted door handle with key lock, self-latching doors that close automatically (135-degree opening), and four adjustable galvanized leveling legs. It is not recommended for use with sulfuric, nitric, or hydrochloric acids, and is FM-approved, meeting NFPA Code 30 and OSHA requirements. The internal dimensions of the cabinet are 20"W x 14.56"D x 30.5"H.
