Addvance 6120 is an ultra heavy-duty biodegradable metalforming lubricant designed for the most demanding operations, specifically engineered to replace oil-based lubricants when working with hard metals. This unique, no oil formulation is derived from renewable resources, offering exceptional lubricity, personal safety, and environmental compatibility. Addvance 6120 delivers the performance of chlorinated lubricants without the inclusion of chlorinated paraffin. It features outstanding corrosion protection, a cleaner and safer press room environment, and an anti-wear extreme pressure (EP) package that minimizes part breakage, galling, tearing, and wrinkling. Additionally, it is non-staining and safe on yellow metals, cleans off easily, and contains no hazardous materials, providing excellent die life and multi-metal compatibility while reducing post-finishing costs and eliminating smoke and oil residues. The lubricant is ideal for a variety of applications including bending, blanking, deep drawing, end-forming, extruding, metalforming, piercing, punching, rod and bar processing, stamping, tube-drawing, tube-end-forming, and tube-expanding.
