The pressure washer motor features a 5HP power rating, operates at 3450RPM, and utilizes a 56H frame with drip-proof (DP) design for enhanced durability. It is rated for 230V and 1PH, designed for continuous duty applications with manual thermal protection and a 1.0 service factor, making it suitable for both hot and cold pressure washer applications as well as other single-phase installations that require minimal starting and running amperages. The motor employs a capacitor start, capacitor run construction to reduce amperage use and is equipped with prelubricated double shield ball bearings, utilizing Exxon Polyrex® EM lubricant, which has an operating temperature range of -20°F to +350°F, providing extended life and moisture resistance. Additionally, it features a dynamically balanced rotor and shaft assembly, high efficiency designs to save energy, a stator impregnated with an extra heavy varnish system, and high temperature copper magnet wire for enhanced overload capacity. The grounding provision in the conduit box ensures safety, while the manual reset overload protector prevents automatic resets, thus maintaining high overload capacities as supported by its service factor. This motor is compatible with models AO Smith/Magnetek: B182, Baldor: PCL1327M (Leeson frame size is 56HC), and Grainger: 5UX55.
