The pressure washer motor features a power rating of 5HP, operates at 1740RPM, and has a 184 frame size with a drip-proof (DP) design. It is designed for 208-230V, single-phase (1PH) applications, offering continuous duty performance. This motor includes manual thermal protection and exhibits a 1.15 service factor, along with a rigid C mount for mounting stability. It is particularly suited for both hot and cold pressure washer applications, as well as other single-phase installations that require minimal starting and running amperages. The construction utilizes capacitor start and capacitor run technologies, which help reduce amperage draw. The motor is equipped with double shield ball bearings that are prelubricated with Exxon Polyrex® EM lubricant, ensuring an operating temperature range of -20°F to +350°F, along with a special formulation for enhanced longevity and moisture resistance. The rotor and shaft assembly is dynamically balanced for smooth operation, and the design is high efficiency to save energy while reducing amperage. Additionally, the stator is impregnated with an extra heavy varnish system, and high-temperature copper magnet wire is employed to provide high overload capacity. A grounding provision is included in the conduit box, and a manual reset overload protector safeguards against automatic resets, ensuring high overload capacities due to the service factor.
