The Safepace 100 is a compact radar sign designed for effective visibility and power efficiency, suitable for various applications. The kit includes banding brackets, four lithium-ion batteries, and a dolly. It supports Bluetooth 4.0 communication and is compatible with the Safepace® Pro Management Software application. Users can select either miles per hour or kilometers per hour, and the sign offers 24/7 365-day unlimited programming and scheduling capabilities. Key features include display and stealth modes (where speed is not displayed but data is collected), minimum and maximum speed displays, digit flashing speed threshold, and a speed violator strobe that activates above the maximum speed. The enclosure is made of 12-gauge aluminum with a flat black powder-coated front and a light gray powder-coated body that is weatherproof, NEA 4X-12 rated, and IP65 compliant. The non-sealed and ventilated design includes a 25" aluminum protective cover with white high-intensity reflective sheeting on the sign face and black text that conforms to MUTCD standards. Operating temperatures range from -40°F/-40°C to 185°F/85°C, with all circuit boards featuring a conformal coating. The standard banding brackets can be replaced with an optional universal mounting bracket system, which includes a bracket, locking plate, key, and pole-mount plate for various mounting configurations. The display measures 11"H x 5.6"W and features 196 amber 5 mm LEDs with a viewing angle of 15° and luminous intensity of 4180-8200/LED, as well as a speed violator strobe with 12 white 5 mm LEDs and similar luminous intensity. The maximum display brightness is 11,000 nits (cd/m²), with 550 nits (cd/m²) at night, supported by an ambient light sensor and automatic brightness adjustment. Power input options are AC100-240 VAC or 12 VDC.
