The system includes functions for programming and diagnostics through Bluetooth 4.0 communication and the SafePace® Pro management software application, with speed display options in miles per hour or kilometers per hour. Users can access 24/7 unlimited programming and scheduling, with features such as display on/stealth modes, minimum and maximum speed displays, digit flashing speed thresholds, and a speed violator strobe that flashes above the maximum display speed. The enclosure is made of 12 gauge aluminum, featuring a flat black powder-coated front and a light gray powder-coated body, designed to be weatherproof with NEA 4X-12 and IP65 level compliance. It operates within temperatures of -40°F/-40°C to 185°F/85°C and includes a 25" aluminum protective cover. The sign face utilizes white HIP reflective sheeting with black text conforming to MUTCD standards. Mounting options include standard banding brackets or an optional universal mounting bracket system with a bracket, locking plate, key, and pole-mount plate. The display features 11"H x 5.6"W digit size with 196 amber 5 mm LEDs and a speed violator strobe of 12 white 5 mm LEDs. The display brightness reaches a maximum of 11,000 nits and adjusts automatically based on ambient light conditions. Power input options include AC100-240 VAC and 12 VDC, with built-in ambient light sensing. The radar component features internal Doppler radar, FCC approved, with a maximum radar RF output of 5 mW at frequencies of 24.125 GHz or 24.200 GHz, and a pickup distance of up to 800 ft.
