The explosion-proof motor features .75/.5HP power output, operates at 3450/2850 RPM, and is designed with a 56 frame. It is rated for EPFC and operates at 208-230/460V in a 3-phase configuration, making it suitable for continuous duty applications. The motor includes automatic thermal protection and has a service factor of 1.0 with a round mount design. It is constructed to meet rugged mechanical standards for safety and is UL and CSA listed. The motor comes standard with double shielded, pre-lubricated ball bearings and inherent automatic overload protection. An explosion-proof conduit box is included at no extra cost, and normally-closed thermostats are standard on cast iron motors. This motor is designed for Division I areas, where hazards are continuously present, or Division II areas, where the threat of fire or explosion is not normally present.
