The Thermo Scientific™ Lindberg/Blue M™ Mini-Mite™ tube furnaces are designed for quick heating and cooling of samples, featuring Moldatherm insulation for enhanced thermal efficiency. The microprocessor-based self-tuning PID control ensures optimal thermal processes without overshooting, with a digital, single setpoint control that allows for a single segment and one ramp to setpoint. Key attributes include adjustable high-limit over temperature protection, a simultaneous LED display for both temperature and setpoint in °C or °F, and a split-hinge design for easy loading and unloading. Safety is enhanced by a switch that disconnects power when the furnace is opened, and a Type K long-life thermocouple is included. The heated zone measures 12 in. Additionally, the over temperature control system offers adjustable digital protection, which guards the furnace and load against primary control circuit failure, requiring a manual reset for safety. Each furnace comes equipped with a 9 ft. (3 m) power cord, though process tubes must be supplied by the customer. An optional RS-485 data connection port is available upon special order.
