Ideal for general laboratory use, including gravimetric analysis, sintering, quantitative analysis, and heat treating. This kit includes key features such as a door safety switch that stops power to heating elements when the door opens, thermocouple break protection to prevent a thermocouple failure runaway condition, and two open coil heating elements on the chamber sides to ensure fast heat-up with a minimum temperature gradient. The thermal-efficient ceramic insulation surrounds the chamber for maximum energy efficiency. It also features a 0.95 cm (0.38") diameter port for monitoring chamber temperatures with an independent measuring device located at the rear of the chamber. The A1 digital controller provides digital single setpoint control with a dual display that shows both actual temperature and setpoint; however, no mechanical over-temperature protection relay is included.
