The Watts 0792047 1/2" Vacuum Breaker is a lead-free, spill-resistant atmospheric vacuum breaker designed to prevent the reverse flow of polluted water into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage. It features a lead-free body construction, a silicone rubber check disc, stainless steel springs, and a lightweight plastic disc float that minimizes deposits and scaling. Additionally, it includes a spring-loaded atmospheric vent with an O-ring and a spill-resistant diaphragm seal. Its compact, space-saving design makes it ideal for health hazard applications that require continuous pressure, such as on chemical dispensers or factory machine equipment. The vacuum breaker operates within a maximum pressure of 150 PSI (10.34 bar) and a minimum pressure of 8 PSI (0.55 bar).
