The Thermo Scientific™ Locator 6 Rack and Box System can economically store up to 6,000 samples, ensuring easy sample retrieval while consuming minimal liquid nitrogen. This compact design optimizes space while enhancing storage capacity and is compatible with both manual and computerized inventory record-keeping methods. It maintains samples below -180°C, even with less than 2 inches (5 cm) of liquid nitrogen remaining in the vessel. An optional ultrasonic level monitor is available to protect irreplaceable samples by minimizing liquid nitrogen evaporation and conduction, and it includes an audible alarm that activates when the nitrogen level falls below a safe range. The advanced vacuum insulation further reduces liquid nitrogen evaporation and lowers operating costs, while secure locking mechanisms prevent unauthorized access. The system includes indexed stainless-steel racks compatible with 2-inch (5 cm) Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ cryogenic boxes, with larger racks available for storing 5.0 ml ampules. Please note that Nalgene cryogenic boxes must be ordered separately, and this product cannot be shipped to residential addresses.
