Thermo Scientific™ Heratherm™ advanced protocol ovens are designed for multiple applications, featuring either mechanical or gravity convection technology that ensures excellent temperature uniformity and low energy consumption. The ovens have a broad temperature range of up to 330°C and come with adjustable fan speed in mechanical convection models, allowing for application-specific airflow, such as for drying powders. They are equipped with a high-speed function for expedited drying and heating, facilitating quick recovery and optimal temperature stability. The programmable controller allows for temperature ramps and dwells, with the capability to save up to 10 programs, each containing 10 discrete steps. Additional features include electronically controlled fan speed and damper position, automated program repetition, and an access port for introducing sensors to enable independent data monitoring. A simple calibration routine helps maintain temperature accuracy over time, while the boost function provides rapid heating without the need for continuous operation, although this feature is not available in large capacity units.
