The Thermo Scientific Heratherm OMH400 Advanced Protocol Oven is a mechanical convection oven with a capacity of 14 cu. ft., designed for multiple laboratory applications. It features a broad temperature range up to 330°C and offers adjustable fan speed for application-specific airflow, making it suitable for tasks such as drying powders. The oven is equipped with a high-speed operation for expedited drying and heating, ensuring quick recovery and optimal temperature stability and uniformity. A programmable controller allows for temperature ramps and dwells, with the capability to save up to 10 programs, each containing 10 discrete steps. Additional features include electronically controlled fan speed and damper position, the ability to repeat programs automatically, and an access port for introducing sensors for independent data monitoring. A simple calibration routine ensures long-term temperature accuracy, and a boost function enables rapid heating, enhancing efficiency (note that this feature is not available in large capacity units).
