The original rescue cans developed by Bob Burnside, the L.A. County chief over 30 years ago, feature strong cross-linked polyethylene construction, equipped with molded, pebble-grained hand grips to reduce slippage. They are designed with the thickest walls for added strength, a heavy-duty 2" nylon strap, and 10' of 11/32" line. The 28" rescue can is specifically engineered for single-victim rescue scenarios, while the 34" rescue can is intended for multi-victim rescue situations. This configuration ensures durability and effectiveness in emergency rescue operations.
