The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Hookit™ Clean Sanding Paper Disc 732U is a 5-inch, 120 grit sanding disc featuring 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, designed for enhanced cutting performance and longer life compared to conventional abrasives. With a cutting capability that is up to 2 times faster and a lifespan that can extend up to 4 times longer, these discs are ideal for stock removal across a variety of substrates, including metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The C-weight paper backing is suitable for applications where edge retention is not critical. The Hookit™ design allows for convenient attachment to a hook-and-loop backup disc pad (sold separately), enabling easy removal and re-use throughout the abrasive life. The proprietary multi-hole pattern improves dust evacuation compared to standard 5- or 6-hole designs, and the open coat construction facilitates efficient dust and debris removal to prevent clogging. This disc is engineered to minimize loading on the cutting surface, ensuring maximum effectiveness during use.
