The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Film Disc 775L features 3M Precision Shaped Ceramic Grain, which provides enhanced cutting performance and durability. This triangular-shaped ceramic mineral is engineered to slice through substrates, allowing the disc to cut up to 2x faster and last up to 6x longer than conventional abrasives. These discs are suitable for a variety of applications focused on stock removal and are effective on metals, composites, gelcoat, and whitewood. The film backing enhances tear resistance compared to paper discs, providing additional durability and edge retention. The discs are designed to work seamlessly with 3M™ Elite Random Orbital Sanders and utilize the 3M™ Stikit™ system, which features a pressure-sensitive adhesive coating for easy attachment to a disc pad, allowing quick and clean changes between discs. Each Stikit™ disc requires a compatible Stikit backup pad (sold separately) and is ideal for applications including AOEM finish prep/repair, defect repair/leveling, finishing, orbital sanding, and paint/lacquer sanding on cabinetry, custom woodworking, millwork, and furniture.
