NewStripe Aerovent® 1X is a single aerosol can disposal system featuring Safe2Vent™, model number 10004700. This system allows for the efficient puncturing and draining of aerosol spray cans, significantly reducing the cost associated with hazardous waste disposal. The operation involves placing an aerosol can into the Aerovent® 1X, closing the lid with a handle/clamp that automatically seals the chamber and punctures the can. After waiting for the Safe2Vent™ filter's Viz-a-Ball to indicate safe depressurization, the lid can be opened to remove the can, which can then be disposed of or recycled as metal. The system includes a cycle counter that tracks the number of cans processed, eliminating manual counting and aiding in timely filter replacements. Designed for smaller waste generators, the Aerovent® 1X features a unique tray that accommodates aerosol cans up to 3 inches in diameter and 10 inches in length with quick-change aluminum plugs to fit various sizes. Additionally, the exclusive Viz-a-Ball™ indicator check valve enhances operator safety by signaling when the system is depressurized, thus complying with OSHA, EPA, and California regulations.
