The general purpose, 3-phase motor is designed for a variety of applications, featuring a 1/2 HP power rating and operating at speeds of 1725/1425 RPM. This motor comes with a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure, constructed with a 48 frame and a rigid mount, suitable for environments with dirt or dampness but not for very moist or hazardous (explosive) locations. It operates on a voltage of 208-230/460V with a frequency of 60/50Hz, providing nameplate amps of 1.8/.9 and 2.1/1.05. The motor is rated for continuous duty with a service factor of 1.15 and includes automatic thermal protection. The efficiency is rated at 77, classified under NEMA premium efficiency type, and it can operate in an ambient temperature of 40°C.
