The general purpose capacitor start-inductor run motor features a 1/6 HP output with a speed of 1725 RPM, housed in a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure with a 42 frame design. It operates on 115/208-230V, 1PH, 60Hz power, drawing name plate amps of 4.2/2.1 during continuous duty operation. The motor has a service factor of 1.15 and does not include thermal protection, with an efficiency rating of 50 and categorized as standard efficiency type. It is designed to operate in an ambient temperature of up to 40 C and allows for selective counterclockwise rotation. The shaft measures 1-1/8 inches in length and has a diameter of 3/8 inches. The TEFC enclosure is designed without vent openings to ensure a tightly enclosed structure that prevents free air exchange while still allowing for cooling via an external fan that circulates air around the external frame of the motor. This motor is suitable for environments exposed to dirt or dampness, but not intended for very moist or hazardous (explosive) locations, and it includes a rigid base for secure mounting on equipment.
