The Leeson motor features a power rating of 1/2 HP and operates at a voltage of 208-230/460V with a speed of 3450 RPM. It has a Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated (TENV) design with a C face mount and a service factor of 1.15, achieving an efficiency of 82.5%. This motor is constructed from either rolled steel or stainless steel, ensuring long-lasting durability. The machined face mount includes a pilot on the shaft end, allowing for direct mounting with pumps or other directly coupled equipment, with bolts passing through the mounted part into the threaded hole in the motor face. The enclosure is designed with no vent openings to prevent free air exchange while remaining non-airtight, relying on convection for cooling without an external fan. It is suitable for environments exposed to dirt or dampness, though not for very moist or hazardous (explosive) locations. The motor is UL and CSA compliant and has a frame size of 56.
