Safely handle corrosive liquids using rubber gloves and the large carrying handle on Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ polypropylene jugs, which offer excellent chemical resistance. These jugs include polypropylene screw caps and are lightweight for easy handling and carrying, weighing one-third the weight of glass. They are autoclavable and leak proof, but it is important to completely disengage threads or remove the cap before autoclaving; for best results, use a properly vented closure.
